Location: Romania
Dates: February 29 - March 9, 2008
Donation: $2400 (donation may vary with your departure location)
Romania is a nation with the potential for abundant agricultural production. However, its people have experienced extreme poverty for many years, much of which resulted from a harsh dictator, who once stole ruthlessly from Romania's people while providing untold luxuries to a few. Thousands of children were orphaned or abandoned, earning Romania its reputation as the "land of orphans." Still today, the orphanages are crowded with young ones, who may receive little more than the bare necessities.
How can God use you to minister to these precious children, who so desperately need attention, affection, and loving care? Consider serving with us in a Romanian baby hospital and an orphanage for older children. You will also visit the Transition House, where young adults live in a family setting and are taught job skills that will enable them to succeed in society. We will probably visit some of the rich cultural and historic sites of this remarkable country.

Location: Jamaica
Dates: March 1 - 8, 2008
Donation: $1500 (donation may vary with your departure location)
At the campus of the Caribbean Center for the Deaf (CCCD), the children of Jamaica will find a permanent place in your heart as you offer your services. At CCCD, 85 hearing-impaired children find freedom to communicate using sign language, as they receive an education, vocational training, and, most importantly, the Good News of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Recent hurricanes have damaged the office at their Kingston Campus and destroyed the chapel. Our team will be helping with repairs if there is still a need. Otherwise, we will be working on the construction of a partially completed student dorm. There will be plenty of time to interact and play with the children during the trip. Also, plan on some time to enjoy the beautiful countryside of Jamaica. In all, this week will change your life.

Location: Mexico
Dates: April 4 - 12, 2008
Donation: $1350 (donation may vary with your departure location)
"Let the little children come to me… for of such is the kingdom of God." - Jesus
Come with us to northern Mexico to help the House of Children. In obedience to God's Spirit and leading, Pastor Lupe and Chuyita Gonzalez started this ministry of compassion in 2004. They provide a safe haven for children who don't have a home. The children receive a good education, and their house parents serve meals and care for them in a loving environment where God's love is shown and the Gospel is shared.
However, there is still a lot of work ahead to complete this project. The home is situated on a hill, and the land around it needs to be terraced so that crops can be grown. They also need two showers installed and a chicken coop. Your team will contribute to the ministry in whatever way is needed at that time. Come prepared to work, to encourage the staff, and to have fun with the kids, even if you don't speak their language. Love, smiles, hugs, and laughter are part of a universal language understood by everyone.

Location: Hong Kong
Dates: June 30 - July 20, 2008
Donation: $2800 (donation may vary with your departure location)
You will be amazed at the work of Crossroads International, a Hong Kong-based organization that redistributes quality goods to people in need - orphans, the elderly, the handicapped, refugees, and disaster victims. Individuals' educational, financial, or medical needs are also met by sending goods throughout Hong Kong and China, as well as to other areas in Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Africa, and Central and South America. How can you help? In many ways! Crossroads' warehouse is full of items that need to be sorted, assessed, repaired, packed, and moved. Some of their facilities are in need of maintenance and repair. Are you a handyman, an electrician, a seamstress? Can you paint, repair computers, fix furniture? Are you willing to categorize books, cook meals, or pack household goods? Whatever your talents, this team has a place for you. We also may be able to see some of the sights of Hong Kong - Victoria Peak, the Night Market, or the Stanley Market.
